How many days is the package?
It is a private 3-day, 2-night Merzouga desert package. Both nights are spent at the desert camp.
Is the package private?
Yes. The experience is private for your group, with a local Merzouga team supporting you throughout.
What time should we arrive in Merzouga?
Day 1 arrival is approximately 4:00 or 5:00 PM. The exact timing and activity order can change with the season and sunset.
Can we arrive in a rental car?
Yes. Self-drive guests receive parking assistance and we transfer luggage to the camp.
Can you pick us up from Errachidia Airport?
Yes. Errachidia Airport pickup is available as an optional private transfer.
Do you offer transport from Fes or Marrakech?
Yes. Private transportation from Fes, Marrakech, Ouarzazate or another Moroccan city can be quoted separately.
What is included in the self-drive price?
Two camp nights, a private tent, the meals listed on this page, camel riding, 4x4 activities, quad biking, sandboarding, music and parking assistance are included.
Is the camel ride required?
No. Guests who prefer not to ride a camel can request a 4x4 transfer to the camp.
Are quad bikes included?
Yes. One hour of guided quad biking is included in the package.
Is sandboarding included?
Yes. Sandboarding is included during the desert activities.
Will we see sunrise and sunset?
A sunset experience is included. Sunrise is optional on Days 2 and 3, subject to timing and weather conditions.
What is Madfouna?
Madfouna is a traditional local stuffed flatbread, often described as Berber pizza. It is served as the included lunch during the Day 2 tour.
Does the camp have private bathrooms?
The package includes a private tent with a private bathroom. Please tell us your preferred bed configuration when booking.
Is henna included?
Complimentary henna is available for women who would like it.
What happens if Lake Dayet Srij is dry?
The lake visit is included when conditions allow. When the lake is dry or inaccessible, the route focuses on other desert attractions.
Can families with children book?
Yes. Families are welcome. Share the children’s ages so we can recommend suitable arrangements.
What should we bring?
Bring comfortable layers, sun protection, closed shoes, a small overnight bag and any medication you need.
Do you take payment through the booking form?
No. The form only requests availability. We will confirm the details and explain the reservation steps directly.
